It reads like a story (although he's pretty sure it happened): There was The Strong, Spirited One. There was The Warrior. There was The Nice, Handsome, Wise One. (Talk about hitting the genetic jackpot.) There may have even been another Reasonably Important Personage in there somewhere, but who can keep track of these things? Angrod was never great at history.

Or science. Or languages. Art. Dance. Speech. Sports. Warfare. Basket-weaving. Upper management. Middle management. Drive-thru. Sex. Drugs. Rock 'n' roll. Life. (Math isn't so bad. When it's just adding columns of numbers.) He's not great at crime these days, either, but at least it's something different?

Really, when you consider the alternatives—Plain, Uninspired, Inept—The Other One sounds almost noble, don't you think?
